Many times I avoided a bad purchase just by reading a few careful comments. Even a short note like 鈥渢his size runs smaller than expected鈥?can help someone. Of course we all have different taste, but patterns still appear in long discussions. A simple pair of glasses or a basic jacket that always works is worth a lot. If they reply politely and give detailed answers, I feel more relaxed. In the end there is no perfect shop, but some stores are clearly more consistent.

Sometimes customer service can fix a bad experience, but not always. A product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival. The same is true for metal versus acetate frames for glasses. For fashion and clothing I pay attention to fabric thickness and stitching details.
